We are good to go!!!
Hello All
First, a big thanks to Kim and Chris for making two trips up to Camp Scholler for us.
OK – the bad news is that the remaining spot that was just north of the ones we roped off was taken. We thought about just pulling the ropes up but decided against it. Some guy named “Poberezny” had claimed it (seriously).
The good news is there was still one spot straight west, in the compound you had last year. It is marked “NEW” below because “Sockett” wouldn’t fit.
Seems to be about 50’ x 50’ – more than standard but exactly equal to the ones on either side of it. The photo attached shows the main compound – you guys have from the tree in front of our Subaru to the nearest orange tape. Orange tapes are Paul’s (Poberezny, not Puccio).
Oshkosh is not as dry as we are here but I don’t expect to have much grass to cut. We’ll be bringing our firewood home if we don’t get some rain before then and you may want to pack an air hammer for your tent pegs.
Hope it all stays put for two weeks until you guys get there. Let’s plan dinner here sometime that week again – let us know if anyone has meetings in Waunakee again this year J
20 days and counting!
Chris
