We did make it around noon, the earliest we have ever arrived at EAA. The truck allowed fewer stops for fuel, in fact the capacity of the truck is greater then, well our... time between rest rooms.
It was HOT, we needed to stop work often. We drank half a case of water. I don't think it was as hot as the first week last year. Today it's forecasted to be 92, Monday 95, then cooler later in the week.
We have very little set up other than the tents. We have missing parts for the green tent. Anyone know how we lost 3 eight foot long white poles from last year?
We are tight for space with two annexes. The camp ground is quite full for being two weeks out. Thank God Kim and Chris came up on the first day.
Sunrise is 5:26 am, just as I write this. A couple more pictures in the next posting.
Bandwidth here is going to be a problem. We have AT&T, Sprint and Verizon all are under one meg.
BTW the Gnome was no help yesterday, all he did was sit in the truck. :-)
